designer's own words:

Dona Benta - compact kitchen unit Dona Benta is made of decorated honeycomb panels in aluminium. This solution creates a lightweight structure that is extremely solid and resistant at the same time. The kitchen unit is placed on wheels to allow for easy positioning and movement. Flexible tubes on one side of the unit provide for water intake and discharge, and electricity, thus allowing a considerable degree of movement to the kitchen. The kitchen unit is fully accessorized with industry standard domestic appliances necessary for food storage, preparation and washing, all contained within the structure itself. The kitchen comes with an electrical cooking unit, a sink, a refrigerator, a dishwasher or electrical oven and an aspirator for cooking fumes. Dona Benta is designed to optimize the use of space in small city apartments, allowing the user to personalize living quarters according to their needs in each moment. The mobility of the kitchen unit allows it to function as a divisor within a room when in use, or to be repositioned against the wall when extra space is necessary. The side positioning of the refrigerator allows one to access it even when the kitchen is against the wall. The window opening gives one the possibility of having direct contact with guests while cooking, at the same time offering privacy to the chef. The window can also function as a small table when open. The kitchen unit is designed in three pieces for easy transportation and assembly.
