designer's own words:

thinking of time and how it is perceived in the modern world, i decided to design a dynamic and streamlined watch inspired by race cars. the watch's lines are fluid and continuous. the materials and colors are borrowed from the world of automobiles. the polished stainless steel, rubber strap, glass, carbon background and red needles are reminiscent of car dashboard displays. like many sports car dashboards, different information is displayed in separate dials; the seconds display has a separate frame and glass sunken on the face of the watch.

designboom collects information
