designer's own words:

The traditional korean villages in the mountain areas located at the lower edges of the moutains and a region with a great deal of annual precipitation. Based on this traditional mountain village, we planned a 'excited moment' in which communities and easily accessible tube system placed on the lower areas are well harmonized with the mountains. we focuses on harmony with traffic system of the country but also combines other functions such as nature, city and human. we applied a complex transform center based on formed a green traffic network through bicycle lift, public bicycle rantals, depositories and shower room and utilized a synthetic plan for public spaces. The streets of city should provide the plesure of walking the streets and relaxing atmosphere to busily passing pedestrians at the same time. The green axis at the center becomes a slow path on with pedestrians can walk slowly in the nature and the inner belt with tube way is planned as a lively street that can accommodate to the busy urban life. Through this process a building becomes not just place to accommodate functions but also a part of a park and a road to be a space for community that creates new meetings.
