I get up at night to go to the bathroom. It is pitch dark and I finger my way forward. I do not turn on the lights because my life is a light-sleeper and they will disturb her. My wrist-watch is glowing and I can read the hour. If only the door handle could glow like that! I check the kids and see the funny plastic badges they got from their grandmother glowing beside their pillows. So it is easy and even cheap!

Glow stripe has a clean and minimalistic design – an extruded rectangular section bends smoothly to attach to the door. The attachment is exposed and articulated. A thin stripe passes through the centre of the handle. The stripe is made of plastic which glows with a pale-green colour in the dark.
