designer's own words:

HOLI ONE How do new things get created? By mixing two components. So what happens when you mix heat & light? You get a new type of radiator. HOLI ONE gets its name from HOt & LIght and its aureole of warmth & light that it brings into the living room. N° 1, because it can be the first in a serie of many. By combining the straight design of a timeless radiator and the 'new' technology of LED lighting, you can bring a new (and yet so familiar) object into the living room. The radiator contains underneath each of the three parts a removable bar of LED's that fit on a glide. This means that the LED can be positioned in two ways: - Frontal for direct lighting which accents to the three parts of the radiator - Downward for indirect lighting that gives a intimate athmosphere LED have a longlife guarantee. But by putting them into a removable bar the can be easily replaced. The LED's can be activated by a simple switchbutton at the back of the radiator. Imagine what happens if you would add a heatsensor which dims or lightens up the LED when the temperature is rising. Both transfo & sensor can be put at the rear of the radiator because of there small proportions. Future ideas: HOLI trinity: - HOLI TWO: a convector with for a long athmosferic light effect on the floor - HOLI THREE: a round radiator, THE aureole light & warmth
