designer's own words:

The body casing of Kinoko is a single metal piece made out of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) and jointed by a retractable system from both ends, will have a similar function to a clasp or a buckle of any ordinary watchband, which provides a maximum flexibility to the strap and thus allowing for ease of adjustment. The gill shape dials are made out of titanium and the heart of Kinoko will be a high-end Swiss Made automatic analog movement with a unique locking mechanism with guards and directs the movement of each single titanium dial without any impacts of gravity. Kinoko is designed to last due to the use of durable materials and high quality components and with its functionality and timeless aesthetics, Kinoko will definitely be the next icon in watch culture.
