MAGIC BOX is a home light with a docking station and a stereo system. It’s an innovative take on the problem of having more functions in one design like lighting a space, recharging your electronic devices and at the same time using them as a music library.
An ultra-light aluminium rim hosts to a LED strip injecting light into a clear PMMA surface, processed for the purpose. It is a non-intrusive element that, utterly absent and immaterial, becomes perceptible when switched on, thanks to the light outlining its central emitting surface. The resin inside changes from clear to full of light,becoming a perfect diffusing emitting surface. Use your phone or just touch the screen for playing. The display let you choose music from a platform like Deezer (a streaming service with over 35 million songs). All the additional ports like USB ports and an electric cable are hidden behind the speaker.
