From a hand blown Murano glass to a lunch tray of Japanese handmade lacquer, when the skilled artisan chose a particular material or tool and use them taking care of any single detail in the process to a final piece, it is establishing a sort of emotional link between them. Our aim is to give users the chance to experience the same emotional link with objects that last. The table lamp allows the user to create different ambient light depending on the way he arranges the lampshades. In an era when everything is controlled by the flick of a switch or dimmer, this interaction reminds us of the joy of arrangement by hand. Mood is made of a solid oak base and two different glass shades, each one with two finger holes. The inner lampshade is made of frosted white glass while the outer one is made of dark grey glass.
