The shape of the butterfly is a laser cutted-out, heated and bent surface. This technic allows subbtle shadows to be casted from around of the surface of the object or from the back, with the help of a light source placed on the wall. We can also imagine a painted wall that would let colours appear from behind the butterfly. Following the same poetic mood, the freedom to customized walls and furnitures is given. For instance, I have designed a coffee table with a butterfly gently landed on the surface, like a real life butterfly on the water pound, creating a very poetic, refreshing and relaxing feeling
