designer's own words:

Nissan Tower - the gemstone in a City Parking box can also be beautiful and functional When I was thinking in designing of parking box for new urban proof car Nissan gemstone Opal has inspired me. It is "full of life" gemstone that is continuously changing color spectra depending on point of view. Just this amazing color show brought me a unique idea to create something extraordinary although the subject of the design was such a ordinary think like parking tower. The tower would represent the jewel of the city, which would be an impressive dominant point of the city and would reflect different color spectra from different point view. A such effect will be achieved by using of semitransparent films attached to the glass walls from inside of the building. From outside the film would not be visible but inside it would create systems of mirrors that would finally result in optical effect of endless space. The lighting system installed into parking lots consisting of variable color lamps would create illusion of living object and this illusion would be gained when cars will move inside. The main idea of this project is to prove that parking tower can be not only practical but also aesthetic and pretty. The same would apply for Nissan Quashqai.
