designer's own words:
The on | off wireless earring is a bluetooth headset that becomes a piece of jewelery when turned into the off position. The shape of the unit is based on the universal symbol for the "on/off button you find on many electronic items such as the remote control. I wanted to design an item that could be worn with any clothing and for any event, for this reason I tried to keep the lines simple but at the same time refreshing.

This view shows the back of the headset. Here you can see the adjustable earpiece and microphone. You can also see where the sliding mechanism is located to turn the unit between on and off.
