designer's own words:In our efforts to create the perfect world, we need to start to question our use of the worlds energy, do we really need all this technology and if so how do we go about getting the energy for it? We complain about nuclear power stations and the eyesore of wind turbines, yet we'd be unhappy if we didn't have the electricity to run our tv's. We need to understand that we can't have both. 'Rage against the machine' is a campaign not to tell us the answers but to provoke debate, using the simple internationally iconic symbol of the lightbulb, it encourages the viewer to question their lives. 'eyesore a bright idea?'
