The 'ribbon writing' pattern consists of straight parallel stripes and soft, tilted loops in between them. The loops are aligned in a way that they seem continuous, as from a single thin ribbon. The pattern resembles handwritten capital H on a line. Printed on a smooth silk, it will create a very fine and elegant mesh, enhancing silk’s natural shine.
