designer's own words:
when we were kids we played with round plastic stool as our castle or treasure chest. we put or hide our favorite toys in it. stooly brings this experience to a new level and modified the round stool’s feature.
you can put or “hide” all kinds of stuff in through the enlarge opening on its top, or through the bottom by opening furry bag. when sitting on it, no one will notice that you are actually sitting on a treasure chest. when you get up and carry stooly, the sinking furry bottom will surprises innocent onlookers.
STOOLY will be a great body in the room, because you can sit on it without showing what is inside, and can create an amazing effect when you move it.
Once you rise it up, the bag that filled up with your stuffs would surprisingly appear with its vivid color and fabric form its base.
You can put or “hide” your stuffs into Stooly, from the top-hole or bottom.
It causes different feelings and effects with different fabrics on Stooly. For example, the stretch fabric bag would show rough outlines of heavy stuffs.
Stooly connected with the bag by buttons, which embedded on its inner surface. Users can change the bag easily.
