designer's own words:

The project which i made for this contest is based on japanese philosophy and space forming. My main goal was to connect function and clarity which have big grounds in the present. I was experimenting with the combination of different materials and finnaly i chose wood and porcelain. The pot can be used in lots of different ways which is in connection with its size, forms and function. The biggest part of the project was, how can i use the lid for other purposes. It can be used as alid (of course), as a holder for sauces, spices and also as a saucer. The pots fit together - earning more space - thanks for the lid and the flat parts of the pot's wall. A fallen leaf inspired me when i designed the fork. It fits close to your fingers with its gentle curves.
