designer's own words:

We propose a green, luminated, sharp edged, high-tech sculpture for the new Beck´s outlet. Subtle manipulations of the object´s skin and shape will let the user experience dramatic changes of the outlet´s elevations simply by moving around it arousing the potential customer´s interest. The Green Object works in the atmosphere of highly frequenced urban squares as well as on lonely shores. The shape, the lighting concept and the Beck´s logo focus the point of highest attention to the entrance area. From the ramp and the entrance the user will perceive parts of the sculpture-like interior design and technical facilities in the following order: 1. the counter and information desk provides the customer with Beck´s beer and information about the Outlet´s entertainment programme 2. the shining Beck´s containers are at the same time luminated signs and the main Beck´s beer storage facility 3. the high-tech belt provides space for technical facilities (electricity, lighting, air condition, the projection screen and the stage) and connects the far sides of the interior 4. the u.f.o.-shaped seating systems made out of red suede: “The Islands of Pleasure” The inside can be used as a bar or a night club as well as an exhibition space, a workshop or discussion forum. The interior´s atmosphere of the Green Object stimulates socialization through seating systems in flexible groups and fully changeable lighting conditions in terms of colour and intensity to generate or to adjust to different moods adding to the perfect Beck´s experience.
