designer's own words:

// Trash can dream// designed by Move-up cycle company What is the end of high heels that you once loved but now out of fashion? What else can be done with them but disposal? Thesedays, many companies and designers tend to produce things that consider the environment , but there are few things that are designed out of cradle-to-grave product cycle. Move-up cycle is the term we created which got an idea from up-cycle and added ‘Move’ with the intention(actually hope) of stirring up people. We designed the website ‘Trashcandream’ which people can upload the picture of their ‘precious’ rubbish and redesign it using our tool. The tool provides a variety of functions such as searching the pictures of trashes, cutting or gluing them, applying new colors or patterns etc. With this tool, people can explore creative aspects of their old belongings. After people finish their work, they can save the design and the procedure, so that they can share it with many people in the ‘Show your work’ menu. Also, when you become popular and if you want to sell your design, you can register as a designer and have specific space in the ‘designer’s shop’ menu. Through our web site, We would like to let people know the importance of effort to use product as long as possible. Moreover, by communicating and giving body to the idea of redesigning used products, people could raise the mind considering our environment naturally.
