designer's own words:

The classic trestle tables either look chunky and heavy, or are very light and collapsible but not stable. This trestle table has been designed for people who want something elegant and minimalist as well as functional. The two free standing trestles are made of steel tubes. Thanks to the quick release clamp system (bike QR saddle clamp), they can be adjusted to different heights (the smaller tube is engraved with ergonomic working heights such as 75cm, 110cm, etc). Any type of table top can be placed on the trestles (wooden top, glass top, etc). The table top sits on rubber o’rings (no fixings). The clever shape of the trestles provides a number of advantages : - There is enough space for people to sit confortably at both end of the table - It creates a stable support for the table top (with eight supporting points instead of 4) - They are stackable
