it's aperitivo time

Aperitivo time is all about fun, glamour and social gathering, a custom deeply rooted in Italian culture. And when thinking about Italy one may come up with famous icons such as The Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Coliseum, the Vespa, Pizza & Pasta, and why not the Italian Mob and Don Corleone! Thus, since Aperitivo time is an excuse for hanging out, playing and having a great time among friends we decided to use the wellknown “Vendetta” in an ironical way with our home set of Sticks for Aperitivo food. It consists of a main body and sticks for 8 diners. The body is made of melted aluminum. The sticks would be the killing knives that stabbed the laying dead man. The blood surrounding the body, as in real crime scenes, allows the diners to place their sticks on it when they are not eating. It’s Aperitivo time!
