Concept Rationale My artwork takes it’s inspiration from the local public housing in singapore called “HDB flats.” Rendering its façade into patterns, the design explores the fascination of close proximity communal living and the untold stories in every apartment unit. The focal highlight of the design execution is to create a sense of mystery through the power of suggestion where the viewer is a secret observer from a vantage point. Translated Into A Series By illuminating one apartment unit within the design, we unveil snapshots of activities happening in it. This can be used as a creative driver to develop a full series of ties with interesting scenarios.
