information counter of 14.4m-long

Corian and the glass are attractive effects of the lighting.

designer's own words:

The information counter in the complex facility, where every visitor comes at the very first moment of their visit to the building, is the icon of that facility. We designed the counter with our awareness of its sentiment and rich expressions, bringing out the tough properties of the material to enhance the transparency and heighten the tension . [GLASA], one types of corian, which we used for this counter, is the material strewn with pure white tiny drop in its faint base color. Such material's character creates the expressions that as if the inside of the material is filled with soft light. The lighting effect helps to make the glass lamination more attractive. Then, the expressions runing to 14.4m-long, the whole length of counter, change slowly in response to people's gaze as they pass by.
