designer's own words:

I wanted to make an appealing recycleproduct with a new fully biodegradable raw material. (This new material was invented for processing all kinds of connections by standard injection moulding.) I mixed this, new, woody material with: A. Remainders from industry B. Natural products (like shells) I found another way to produce the 'wood' and additives into nice samples. My samples can be developed into floor- or walltiles.
