the ‘build me up!’ bookcase is influenced by building architecture. created by MEJD studio, the storage units reflect the process and the impossibility of putting any end to constructing the urban environment. this idea is applied to the interior, which undergoes similar never ending transformation in erecting one’s individual space. the bookcases are thus based upon a worker figurine, caught in the moment of finishing the ‘wall’ of this product.
