closeup of support tabs

shrine shoe rack is a follow up to the shrine sneaker rack. following its design language/construction method, this shoe rack is cut from a flat piece of stainless steel and bent into shape. an important detail on this rack is the bent support tabs which support each shoe by the toebox. shrine shoe rack was designed to have a minimal footprint and a very modern aesthetic. it’s designed is meant to disappear allowing the shoes to appear as if they are floating on the wall. the shoe rack was also designed to stack on top of each other, appearing as a single strip of metal.
