how can we inspire people to use meaningful innovation, like e-mobility? by making it easy to understand the benefit – especially of new public offerings – thus, the meaning and purpose, without giving it a lot of thought. therefore, the new e-charger for vienna is designed radically simple, as a friendly service. the function itself is pretty simple: a public socket making the e-charger a ‘supersocket’, easily recognized and intuitive in use. the result is a very distinct and feasible design, clearly set apart from e-charging stations in other large cities. this convinced the vienna competition jury, too.
