creating images from random thoughts throughout the day, american illustrator eric petersen compiles a series of graphics stylized like instruction manuals and old vintage comics from the 1940’s. stripping away any humanistic element, petersen’s work leaves the subject matter up to the viewer for deciphering. conceived using uniform lines drawn on the computer, the people are featured without facial expression and with blank eyes.
