argentinian industrial designer luciana gonzález franco has developed ‘ali bualá lamp’, a floor lamp based on ‘one thousand and one nights’, a well-known book of middle-eastern folk tales. it is made of recycled cable reels. in this way, within a simple sparkle, something which would be considered garbage suddenly comes back to life. it works with standard energy-saving light bulbs. dimensions: 7" h x  7" d.
