furniture designer matthew robinson has developed ‘fusion’ a pair of solid wood tables manufactured by hand in american walnut and maple. the cartoon-like appearance brings a sense of fun into an everyday object. stain appears to be dripping from corner of the item which transforms into the fourth leg of the article. it provokes a conversation into the notion of art over function and how the two can come together in a unique form.
