‘curious vase’ by mianne de vries

dutch designer mianne de vries has conceived ‘curious vase’, a variant of 2 to 4 porcelain vases placed within each other. the project encourages the idea of curiosity, where in order to discover whats inside, you need to destroy the ceramic craft. each technical aspect of the production resulted in a difficult process, including an element of surprise every time the objects were finished firing in the kiln.
