'mixtape cassette table' by jeff skierka
celebrating the 50th anniversary of the audio cassette, american designer jeff skierka has developed 'the mixtape table' —
a 12:1 scale replica of the device is made of high-grade baltic birch plywood with maple veneer, solid american walnut
throughout, and a hand-applied oil finish.
each coffee table is built to order, hand-assembled and finished in seattle. the piece is completely reversible - sides A and B,
stamped and numbered on one side. conceived with a 3/8 inch polished edge with a glass top , the surface sits on a custom
platform with hand-bent steel powder coated legs.
