‘namu’ – meaning tree in korean, was developed by saint paul-based designer peter yong ra to embody family valuables and the sensibilities rewarded from them. the chair represents the enduring moments that are formed when objects are inherited and passed down from one generation to another to become heirlooms. the solid construction and symbolic supports celebrate the importance of family roots and the stories found within them.
