vitaly didenko – contemporary artist of turkmenistan, was born in 1976. starting from 1995 involved in the art scene of turkmenistan as a painter, ceramist and textile artist. in his work vitaly uses multiple medias to accomplish desirable effects. techniques involving oxidation, working with fire, wax, various glues, pure pigments, spray paint, acrylic and oil paints. he combines materials that are contrasting in their spiritual essence, like silicon, wood, silk, felt and plastic. author is trying to awaken your imaginative nature to respond to his search. symbolism of the theme and the rich texture of his technique intensifies the excitement, transforming you in to the state of emotional sequences of anxiety and desire to touch the work of art.

this new project is titled ‘poison atlas’, it is a continuation of the series of work, called ‘love’, which was presented in singapore in 2011, during the art show ‘letters d’amore’ http://www.vitalydidenko.org/?p=438 in the art 1 gallery. where tenderness and pain intertwine together, inevitably, the fear is forcing us out of our multilevel comforted state in to the abyss of forbidden love. burning with desire, unable to stop the fatal sliding into the void of forbidden pleasures, we are facing the ‘point of no return’… the obstacles that come our way when in search for happiness only exacerbate the desire, turning us into the hostages of already confined space of our existence, creating only an illusion of freedom from the looming sorrows of the mundane.
