the buildings and streets of brooklyn, new york were demarcated with life size architectural notations, such as one to one architectural scales, North arrows and linear/radial dimensions. public notations reveals the conscious act of architectural and urban design as a patchwork often completed remotely. by bringing two-dimensional representative notation into the real world, we expose the source code behind the design process – a remote action that becomes a public gesture.
