study of storing some things using the elasticity of rubber bands

since its inception in 2005, a design studio ‘daam-so’ has been working in korea. ‘daam-so’ aims to create experimental designs and to make it being used in real life. this project was designed to create a new way of item storing, and reinterpreted from a modern viewpoint infusing into korean traditional furniture. by using an elastic force of rubber and its color, it displays different patterns before and after the use. rubber band would be grafted onto tables and chairs in the future.
