stack is composed of an easy chair and foot stool

the young milan-based design consultancy skrivo will be presenting three new projects at the tutto bene space in via tortona 31 during the milan design week. at the heart of the collection is the stack easy chair and footstool which comes from the idea of having cushions in constant motion that look like they have been stacked randomly on top of each other. placing multicoloured polyurethane upholstered cushions on a mild steel structure creates the perception of depth and playfulness. two tubular steel rods add additional aesthetic detail as well as structural support for the birch wood legs. skrivo was founded by industrial designer stefan krivokapic and the studio specializes in industrial design across furniture and lighting sectors working with manufacturers in both italy and europe. the projects always try to be conscious of the available manufacturing methods while taking into special consideration the materials through constant research into new ones in order to create products that attain a balance between the functional and aesthetics in order to create innovative products.
