zebra play house by beckgroup

this playhouse is designed for the part of charity event (giving gala 2011 _ play house) hosted by the real estate council’ in dallas. the beck group donated this playhouse to the event, and we went through it as an integrated project (design to build) inside of beck group. the design concept was motivated by a big zebra in the green grassland. we designed literally ‘zebra’ with real zebra face patterns and white & black stripes of 3D tunnels to bring kids’ imagination. for construction, we used plywood 4" insulation foams cut by CNC machine, and also carefully considered details including waterproofing and disabilities.
