cersaie fair report

bologna, italy
27 september - 1 october 2005
http://www.cersaie.it

this year holds the 23rd annual international exhibition
of ceramics for the building industry and bathroom
furnishings in bologna, where over 1000 exhibitors
come from 30 different countries to show the latest
in new technologies and aesthetic.

cersaie is one of the most important events in its field
in europe, presenting new trends in bathroom products
ranging from ceramic tiles to sanitary installations
(like showers and taps) and bathroom furnishings.

it is an opportunity to see how the bathroom is being
promoted as a ‘futuristic’ and relaxing space and how
new innovative materials can achieve this,
alongside traditional values as well.

there were many themes evident throughout the show
among them the (scenographic) use of light flows,
electronic controls, some new application of colour,
and rain showers promoted the idea of space and
relaxation within the bathroom.
here is a snapshot report... just to mention a few.
