close cousins exhibition by monica förster

the exhibition shows how the result of a design process,
the completed object that is offered on the market,
often is influenced not only by the manufacturer's brief,
but also by the project that preceded the current assignment.
the influence can affect the technique, the design or the process.
for the uninitiated this can sometimes be hard to see,
since the completed objects are not always launched on the
market in the order they were designed.
monica förster works as a designer with manufacturers in
sweden, italy and japan. since 1999 she has her own studio,
and has received several awards both in sweden and abroad.
