tatsumi orimoto (kawasaki-city, 1946) among other work orimoto created bread-man and his art-mama series. his head wrapped into loafs of bread and french baguette, orimoto has been seen worldwide appearing in public places like streets, squares, museums... the artist's decision to take care of his old mother has changed his whole life: affected by alzheimer's, she is almost deaf because of antidepressive medication and he has continously to look for ways to comunicate with her. tatsumi orimoto 'small mama + big shoes', 1997 a poster of an orimoto exhibition 'big shoes', 1997 'art-mama' , post parcel with photos 'the breadman'
