digital messages on swarovski chandelier

internationally-renowned designer ron arad and
DuPont™ Corian® - the original solid surface material -
have collaborated to present two projects at the
IX biennale di architettura:
‘lo-res-dolores-tabula-rasa’ - revealed

large sheets of blank, white Corian® are brought to
sudden life with film, music and images…
and just as suddenly, the images depart and the Corian®
is blank once more.
ron arad has installed a glass wall - made with
DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ technology /
interlayers for decorative laminated glass
- at the back of the exhibit space, allowing visitors to
view the fibre optic technology used to create this
ground-breaking installation.
‘lo-res-dolores-tabula-rasa’ was shown earlier this year
during the milano design week in april 2004.
