![]() internationally-renowned designer ron arad and DuPont Corian® - the original solid surface material - have collaborated to present two projects at the IX biennale di architettura: lo-res-dolores-tabula-rasa - revealed large sheets of blank, white Corian® are brought to sudden life with film, music and images and just as suddenly, the images depart and the Corian® is blank once more. ron arad has installed a glass wall - made with DuPont SentryGlas® Expressions technology / interlayers for decorative laminated glass - at the back of the exhibit space, allowing visitors to view the fibre optic technology used to create this ground-breaking installation. lo-res-dolores-tabula-rasa was shown earlier this year during the milano design week in april 2004. see the designboom snapshots report |
