the brief that they received was to convert a large volume BMW touring bike into a sports cafe-racer. the first process was stripping away the original motorcycle fairing and screen, fenders, seat, luggage rack, forks, wheels, footrests, speedometer, tank, air filter box, ABS and suspension. once the bare chassis was exposed the subframe was then reworked with the 30mm electric blue tube section and the original pitch was changed, then ended in a curve with an inserted LED backlight driver. built upon this is the base of the seat upholstered in cowhide.

on completion of this structure, ad hoc moved on to the construction of the base fuel tank, which is housed in the fuel pump and the gauge. the exterior finishing has been achieved by fitting a fuel tank suzuki ‘GS-1100’. also making the journey from japan, the rear suspension has been taken from a yamaha ‘R-6’. the original tires have been replaced with some of the older model BMW ‘K-100 18’ tires by AVON roadrider.

the front forks and seatpost are from a BMW ‘K RS-100’, while brembo brake calipers have been introduced. the handlebars are topped with elegant, round mirrors at the ends. in addition to the forks, the front also features a structure that holds the fairing with a smoked screen, housing a rectangular headlight breaking with the traditional image of round lamps and continuing the angular form of the rest of the motorcycle. the speedometer received an upgrade for a digital KOSO unit, featuring a large, clear display.
