'amplifiear' iPad speaker booster by non linear studio
influenced by the simple geometry of an old gramophone, the 'amplifiear' by new york-based non linear studio,
works like a mini amphitheater, employing basic acoustics ideas to create a large sound. the device solves the problem
of the iPad’s notoriously weak, rear-facing speakers. by clipping the accessory over the the tablet's integrated speaker,
it reflects and redirects the sound towards you, increasing volume by up to 10dB.
introduced as a kickstarter project in the spring of 2012, the 'amplifiear' has now become available in six
different color variations for purchasing after meeting its original funding goal.

I would totally get this if it wasn’t for the overpriced shipping charge. $15 to ship is crazy for a piece of plastic that can be shipped under $5. Its a turnoff when companies try to make money from shipping their product.
