apple has unveiled a new ‘smart battery case’ for their latest ‘iPhone 6S’ and older ’iPhone 6’. the cases are engineered specifically for the smartphones to give users longer battery life and protection. the soft microfiber lining on the inside helps protect, while the soft elastomer hinge design makes it easy to put the case on and take it off again. on the exterior, silicone material offers robust protection and added grip. the apple ‘smart battery case’ can simultaneously charge for increased talk time of up to 25 hours, internet use up to 18 hours on LTE and even longer audio and video playback. with the case on, the intelligent battery status is displayed on the lock screen and in notification center so users can know exactly how much power is left. the battery case supports lighting accessories and comes in two complementary colors: – charcoal gray and white.
