during the IFA 2014 in berlin, the ASUS ‘zenwatch’ is being presented as the company’s first wearable device – which was produced in partnership with google. powered by android wear, the comfortable timepiece has a specifically designed version of the ASUS zenUI user interface that offers a selection of instantly changeable watch faces. the slim device works seamlessly with a smartphone running 4.3 or higher software providing relevant and useful information when needed most. the easily customizable ‘zenwatch’ boasts a 2.5D curved glass that increases usability further with a smooth and responsive touch experience.

the watch includes smart features such as watch unlock, tap tap, remote camera, cover to mute, find my phone and presentation control, and has the ASUS zenUI wellness app. this allows the wearer to monitor and track a range of fitness statistics including steps taken, calories burned, activity duration, heart rate and exercise intensity. the elegant and detail-focused gadget has a soft genuine stiched-leather strap that has a quick release clasp. ‘our design philosophy is start with people. we want to deliver a seamless digital experience for everyone to enjoy. with our zenwatch, you will always be connected to everything that matters in your life.’ said ASUS design center vice president mitch yang.
