baglietto’s 2016 season of international boat shows is opening with two premieres, witnessing two of the boat builder’s latest projects: the ‘fast’ 46m, the shipyard’s latest launch, and the ‘unicorn’, 54m displacement motor yacht recently delivered to a european owner.

when designing this new vessel, great care was taken in maximizing the outdoor areas, so as to allow passengers to be in closer contact with the sea when both cruising and at anchor, plus to enjoy the open air. following in the wake of their sleek aluminium planing, the new ‘fast’ model (46m) stands out for its streamlined bow and rakish lines expressing a strong personality, but also boast an imposing stern with hawses. a new element characterizing the exterior lines is the compact shape of the superstructure, which is not too high to enhance aerodynamic penetration. interiors present incredibly spacious volumes for a planing vessel of this size. the warm shades of rosewood alternate with the colder white lacquered ceiling and side panels, resulting in refined, contemporary interiors.

the 54m vessel ‘unicorn’ was built using baglietto’s extensively tested platform for 53m yachts in steel and aluminium — it features the solutions and stylistic elements that have contributed to the brand’s success over the years. its aesthetic features are also serving as a ‘preview’ for the restyling that will characterize the 43 m, 48 m, and 55 m yachts currently being built at the baglietto shipyard, as well as the forthcoming 58 m and 62 m projects.
