‘every year, in order to create new models, I need new sources of inspiration,’ explains bruno belamich, creative director at bell & ross. ‘following the success of our b-rocket motorbike in 2014, I wanted to go even further and design the bell & ross car. the aim was to produce a car that can ‘hold its own’, even amongst automotive professionals. but above all, this real challenge was a great joy. the aeroGT concept car was the starting point for the creation of a new pair of watches inspired by the automotive world – the BR 03 aeroGT models.’

the ‘aeroGT’ adopts the major principles of bell & ross watches – form in response to function and an eye for detailed mechanics. alongside the prototype, two watches with similar themes to the car were released.the computer generated concept continues the company’s strong tradition of aeronautics designs. extremely low, the 4.7 meter long ‘aeroGT’ splits the air like an arrow with pointed forms and sharp angles reminiscent of stealth airplanes. the drop-shaped glass roof and turbine-style rims combine both motoring and aviation themes.

the concept includes 4.2 liter V8 twin-turbo

bruno belamich imagined that the car be propelled by a 4.2 liter V8 twin-turbo engine paired with a eight speed automatic gearbox, which would boast 610 hp. two oversized exhaust pipes and the rear-wheel drive layout would highlight the driving pleasure and reactivity of the car.
