based just a stone’s throw away from italy’s famous lake como, it’s no surprise that the ideal of sitting down for a sun-drenched aperitivo shines though in bice bicycle’s designs. in particular, the 27.5” off-road racer takes the aperol spritz and embodies it in bicycle from, in this custom model that bice founder dario colombo made for claudio sartori–friend and single cross italian series. since dario sources most of his parts locally, it made sense for the bike’s design to represent the same regionality, hence the cocktail color scheme based on northeast italy’s favorite apperativo.

designed for mountain/ endurance racing, the bike is as sturdy as it is stylish. thanks to specifically designed dropouts by bice bicyclesthe bike can adopt 650bplus or 29erplus tyres keeping the same bottom bracket height. the ride is finished off with a wooden handlebar made by animus–famous for handcrafting championship-grade tennis rackets.
