bosch has released an upgraded version of the power box™, a job site stereo
with a CD and MP3 player, AM/FM radio and a remote control. the aluminium and rubber roll cage
protects the radio, allowing it to withstand up to a ten foot drop. german consultancy
TEAMS design collaborated with bosch to develop the new design.
the latest features include an advanced antenna and digital tuner for improved radio reception,
a new subwoofer and four-way speakers that emit high-quality sound in 360 degrees.
there is a small caribineer remote control that attaches to a key chain and is stored on the
power box handle.
in addition to playing CDs, MP3s and iPods (from a protective interior charging station),
the power box also recharges bosch power tool batteries, cell phones and other 12v
electrical equipment. the backlit UI was redesigned to be more user-friendly,
and rubberized chambers that seal off the buttons and speakers protect the unit from dust

ugly. way too much molded plastic. not a fine example of German design lineage. Dieter Rams would be sick to his stomach at the site of it.
It’s good for use in factory or rough working area
i guess
Awful!
Dieter Rams…..Seriously? You don’t see many of his products on construction sites. I feel like captain obvious here, but this is a catergory that requires a much more rugged aesthetic.
Purpose driven design. I like it and I agree with eweeze.
