digital parametric typography app in real-time by normals
paris-based multidisciplinary media group normals has conceived ‘normal type v1.0’, an app that simulates parametric typography in real-time. the program manipulates fonts kinetically, allowing the user to manually change the size, kerning, letter spacing, offset and tilt in an interactive format. the type works without a pre-determined shape, where only pivot points and a skeleton transform the graphic composition.
