the donkervoort ‘D8 GTO blister berg edition’ honors the record-breaking test car that set the fastest track times at the german bilster berg circuit in 2014. although the speed of the vehicle has already been established, the company further refined the grip, chassis, road-handling and shaved 10kg of the engine weight, in order to provide the latest performance advancements. a new shock absorber, developed in collaboration with intrax, and an additional roll cage was constructed to to offer greater torsion stiffness.

the instantly recognizable design of the nose which is made from carbon fiber, represents a meaner and more aggressive form than that found on the ‘D8 GTO’ concept. the dashboard is decorated with special emblems for instant identification, this includes a type plate bearing the number and name of the owner of the car. limited to just 14 models, the automobile saves further weight with an ultra-light carpet, carbon fiber seats and special leather.
